April 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of National Poetry Month! On Monday April 4 at 7pm, the Sonnet Man will join Poelodies – Poetry and Melodies, Live at the Falcon in Marlboro, NY.
The Sonnet Man is teaming up with Poet Gold, and Sweet Lee Odom to participate in a residency in honor of National Poetry Month. The Sonnet Man will join this huge literary celebration to recognize poetry’s vital place in our culture.
As a teacher, poet, and rapper from Brooklyn, NY, The Sonnet Man performs Shakespeare’s beloved Sonnets in a unique and dynamic way, through Hip hop. The Sonnet Man will be sharing his spoken word pieces, some personal songs, and also pieces from his work AS The Sonnet Man.
